Pay your tuition fee/student union fee

Go to a bank in Leoben or use online banking in order to transfer the tuition fee/student union fee to the university by using the data on your payment information (Please make sure to enter the correct reference number!). Please note, that it takes 2-3 working days until the money is transferred. Only after the payment has been received by the university, you can validate your account in MUonline system by using your PIN code (written on the information that you've received from the admissions office).

Registration of residence

Residents in Austria are required to register their place of residence with the authorities within three working days after their arrival. This can be done at the Rathaus, Citizen Service Centre.

After completing the registration process, you will be given a confirmation of residence registration, Meldezettel, which is an important document for e.g. setting up a bank account or applying for a residence title. Please keep this document until the end of your stay. If you move to a new residence you need to change your registration.
