Quality Talent Award 2026

Quality Austria and the ÖVQ are looking for young people between the ages of 16 and 30 who can impress with projects or ideas in the fields of quality, environment, safety, or project management. Both student projects and work by young employees can be submitted.

Benefits for participants:

  • Recognition at the qualityaustria Forum on March 18, 2026 in Salzburg
  • Education voucherfor two days of training or further education at Quality Austria
  • Opportunity to present the project publicly (e.g., webinar, blog article)
  • Admission as an honorary member of the ÖVQ

Association Anniversary Foundation 2025

The Association of the Austrian Automotive Industry, an autonomous division of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, awards annual prizes for diploma theses, dissertations, and master’s theses that are of particular interest to the Austrian automotive industry. For this purpose, the Automotive Association Anniversary Foundation was established in 1984. The proceeds of this foundation are used to award monetary prizes to graduates of the Vienna University of Technology, Graz University of Technology, Johannes Kepler University Linz, and the Montanuniversität Leoben.

This year, prizes with a total expected endowment of €42,000 will once again be awarded.

Highly Gifted Scholarship of the Rotary Club Innsbruck 2026

The Rotary Club Innsbruck is convinced that today’s youth are the future of Austria and that the many highly talented young people in our country deserve the best possible support. The scholarship is announced annually at Austrian universities, colleges, and universities of applied sciences; the call is also sent to all Austrian Rotary Clubs.

The application documents (letter of recommendation from a sponsor of an Austrian RC Club; motivation letter; academic transcript; certificates of extracurricular activities; personal statement including a detailed CV; reference/expert report from a professor in the candidate’s field of study) must be submitted electronically in three PDF files:

  1. All certificates from the Matura onward (PDF 1).
  2. All certificates of extracurricular activities (PDF 2).
  3. All other documents (motivation letter, CV, expert report, etc.) (PDF 3).

All documents (three files) must be submitted via the sponsor to the following email address: Univ. Prof. Dr. med. univ. Cornelia Lass-Flörl — cornelia.lass.floerl(at)gmail.com 

The total data volume of all three files may not exceed 5 MB. Applications that do not meet these requirements will not be considered. Please note that the nomination of a candidate (Section 5.1 of the guidelines) and the corresponding expert reports (Section 5.4) must be prepared by different individuals.

Adolf Feizlmayr merit-based Scholarship

The Adolf Feizlmayr Foundation is offering an amount of € 20,000 to foster excellence in academic performance in the areas of Geoenergy Engineering, Mining and Energy Technology.

Funding amount: one-off EUR 2,000,-

Adolf Feizlmayr Support Scholarship for foreign students (except EU)

The Adolf Feizlmayr Foundation provides an amount of € 10,000 for the economic support of foreign students (excluding citizens of an EU country).

Funding amount: may not exceed € 1,000 per academic year.

The Future of Our Economy

On the occasion of its 25th anniversary, the B&C Private Foundation is organising the text competition "Writing the Future".  The competition invites young people aged 20–25 to share their creative and critical insights on the world of work, entrepreneurship, and economic policy. 

The five best entries will each be awarded 5,000 euros by the B&C Private Foundation.
