HUNTING FOR EXCELLENCE for the year 2024
The Dr Franz Josef Mayer-Gunthof Foundation of the Federation of Austrian Industries will continue to award scholarships to students who are about to complete their studies in 2024.
Under the motto "Hunting for Excellence", it aims to contribute to the development of industry-relevant topics of the future.
In 2024, financial support totalling around € 10,000 will be provided. Expected distribution: 1 x € 5,000, the remaining € 5,000 will be divided according to the quality of the respective applications.
Closing date for applications: 07.10.2024
The foundation has both an economic and scientific focus. It supports studies for the acquisition of skills and the deepening of the respective specialised foreign language skills at top international institutes in education, science and research.

Scholarship for the promotion of unfinished scientific work
Object of funding: Unfinished Master's theses and dissertations by students of regular degree programmes that incur special costs (e.g. stay abroad, conference participation, carrying out cost-intensive scientific work).
Regular students of Montanuniversität Leoben with Austrian citizenship or equivalent persons according to § 4 StudFG are eligible to apply.
Amount of the scholarships: A scholarship may not be less than EUR 750 and may not exceed EUR 3,600 for one academic year. Scholarships are awarded within the framework of private-sector administration.

Styrian Economic Chamber Scholarship
The Styrian Economic Chamber awards research grants for the year 2024/25.
Amount of the scholarships: For the academic year 2024/25, the amount is €2,500, whereby the payment modality (monthly or total) is determined by the university.
