Admission to the university preparation programme

The admission to the university preparation programme is done by the Study Support Center at Montanuniversität Leoben. Here we give you some information about the admission to this course.

1. You must complete the university preparation programme, if this has been prescribed or recommended by the Rectorate of the University of Leoben.
2. In order to be admitted to the German courses of the university preparation programme, you must have at least an A2 level command of German and be able to prove it.
3. Registration to attend programme is only possible at the beginning of the semester within the specified registration period and is for one semester at a time.
4. In order to be admitted to the English courses of the university preparation programme, you must be proficient in English to at least level A2 and be able to prove this.
5. For all other courses of the university preparation programme, you must be proficient in English or German to the extent of level B1.
6. When registering for a course for the first time, you must present the notice from the Rectorate of the Montanuniversität Leoben requiring you to take the relevant supplementary examination. You must also have paid the programme fee by this time.
