Information on completing the doctoral programme

Ready to complete the doctoral programme?

Have you completed all required exams according to your individual curriculum?
Have you designated and informed two examiners for your defense and two assessors for your dissertation?
Have you completed all necessary steps for the full submission of your dissertation on MU-Online, including entering all information and uploading all required documents?
Are you using the official MUL cover page (downloadable from MU-Online), and is the full text converted into PDF-A format?
Have you uploaded the signed statutory declaration and consent form on MU-Online?
Have you created the "Declaration of AI-Based Tools Used in Theses" table and included it as an appendix in the full text?
Have you had the library stamp the non-binding declaration?
Have you clarified whether your dissertation needs to be restricted, and if necessary, signed and saved the restriction request for upload on MU-Online?
Have you completed the UhStat 2 survey form regarding study-related stays abroad? (Note: The UhStat survey must be completed and uploaded even if no study-related stay abroad was undertaken!)
Recommendation: Have your dissertation bound only after officially submitting it on MU-Online! (The printed version must be identical to the uploaded version!)
Have you informed the SSC if your address or phone number has changed?

After successfully passing your defense, you will receive an email invitation with organizational details 2 to 3 weeks before the academic ceremony.

Registration/cancellation for the ceremony is required in any case and can be done immediately after passing your defense!
