According to the curriculum, a compulsory internship of 80 working days must be completed for the Bachelor's degree programme at the University of Leoben.

The work placement can be divided into blocks (but at least 20 working days) and can therefore also be completed in sections during the lecture-free period.

  • What regulations apply to my internship?

The regulations for the compulsory internship can be found in the respective curriculum.

  • When can I start the internship?

The internship is generally scheduled from the 7th semester onwards. However, you can complete the internship earlier, but the aim of the internship is to apply the knowledge you have already acquired in practice.

  • What activities am I allowed to carry out as an internship?

The activities in your internship must clearly relate to your field of study and be assigned to a specialisation for each practical block.

  • Will my internship be recognised?

You can clarify in advance with the programme coordinator whether the planned internship activities can be credited

After completing the entire internship, you must apply for credit for the internship by submitting the completed and signed internship form including the activity report to the programme coordinator.

  • Where do I submit the original documents?

The originals must be handed in during the opening hours of the department.
