VITALIS Privatstiftung Scholarship for the winter semester 2025/26
Students of a regular Bachelor's or Master's degree programme at the Montanuniversität Leoben who are Hungarian citizens and have successfully completed at least 16 ECTS credits
in the past winter semester 2025/26 can apply for a scholarship of the VITALIS Private Foundation:

European Forum Alpbach - Scholarship Program 2026
Originally intended as a one-time event, the European Forum Alpbach has taken place annually in August in the Tyrolean mountain village of Alpbach since 1945. During the nearly three-week event, Alpbach becomes the “village of thinkers” or, as the forum’s founder Otto Molden called it, the “other Magic Mountain.” Speakers and participants from all over the world—coming from academia, business, politics, civil society, art, and culture—gather in Alpbach. Renowned experts, Nobel Prize laureates, well-known personalities, and students meet there to discuss the pressing issues of our time and to develop interdisciplinary solutions. The open character of this international event fosters a climate of tolerance toward differing opinions and contributes to building consensus across national, ideological, and disciplinary boundaries.
The 82nd European Forum Alpbach will take place from 24 August to 4 September 2026.
In principle, a complete application must include a letter of motivation, a curriculum vitae, academic transcripts, and a letter of recommendation. Selection is carried out by an academic committee based on an objective evaluation process.
The application deadline is Tuesday, 31 March 2026.
